How to find us

mirambeena Bruny Island is accessed by vehicle ferry from Kettering 45 minutes drive South of Hobart.

Leaving Hobart via Davey Street, take the Southern Outlet (Highway A6) towards Kingston.

Follow the main road signs to the Bruny Island Ferry continuing onto the Kingston Bypass.

Continue through the roundabout onto the Channel Highway through Margate, Snug and Oyster Cove, taking a left onto Ferry Road once you reach Kettering.

The Bruny Island Ferry crossing takes about 15 minutes and provides fabulous views of the D’Entrecasteaux Channel from the upper deck.  You may even see dolphins, seals or a whale!

During peak periods it is best to arrive at the ferry at least 30 minutes early. The ferry crossing is $30 return for a standard vehicle and payable with cash. Bookings for the ferry are not required. For information about concession rates, ferry times and prices for other vehicles, visit the Bruny Island Ferry website.

After disembarking from the Bruny Island Ferry, head South towards Alonnah approximately 30km.

Keep right at the Adventure Bay turn off, continue for another 5 minutes until you see the sign for Forestvale Design Centre and turn left onto Dillons Road.

Travel up Dillons Road for 1km and take the left hand fork to enter the Forestvale property.

Please note: if you are renting a car, check that you are allowed to drive the vehicle onto Bruny Island as there are some sections of gravel road.
